Essential Job Functions·      

  • Coordinate all facility maintenance and grounds functions for the facility
  • Responsible for the facility's record keeping for equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors
  • Work on special projects as requested by supervisor
  • Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, excess supplies and equipment
  • Perform custodial duties
  • Attend Management Meetings, Manager’s Education, All Staff Meetings, and other meetings as requested by supervisor
  • Plan/Coordinate department budget with supervisor
  • Coordinate required fire drills and reporting for facility
  • Develop, encourage and maintain good communication between departments
  • Donation pick ups from local agencies


  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of equipment, materials and methods used in the operation, maintenance and repair of facilities; local,state and federal environmental regulations and permit processes; practice and procedures estimating costs, materials, labor and equipment needs.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others,including other regulatory agencies, departments, and the public; prepare clear, complete and technically accurate reports; work independently under minimum supervision.



  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • High school diploma or GED; one or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and other operating systems preferred.
