Vincent's Story - Hope through Kindness

Vincent gave everything to care for his mother and take care of his own health issues. Since arriving in Grand Forks, he has used the kindness shown to him as a motivator to rebuild his life.

About Northlands Rescue Mission

Since 1942, we’ve reached out with God’s love to men and women who are homeless and seeking a hand up from their desperate situations. Many have lost their livelihoods because of decades of addiction. Others could no longer support themselves when job opportunities dried up. Still more are victims of broken or abusive relationships that forced them from their homes. Because of people like you, we are here to empower these people and help them rebuild their lives.
We are a Christian-based emergency shelter serving adults and families experiencing homelessness and hunger. We are committed to helping people live healthy and stable lives. We work with our community to Fight Poverty, Reach Out to people in need and help them get a Stable Start through our Client-Led Engagement. Click a button below to learn more!
