Ways we Fight Poverty

Feeding those in need right in our own community
Food Baskets
People in our community often have difficult choices to make between rent, other essentials, and food. Last year we supplied more than 1500 food baskets to the community. Those in need are able to ask for a monthly food basket by calling 701-772-6600 ext. 206.
Food basket pickups are every Tuesday and Thursday between 2:30 and 3:30 pm. Please call before 10 am on the day you will be picking up your basket, and bring a photo ID when you come to pick up.

COVID-19 Note: Until further notice, food boxes will be prepackaged and picked up at the alley door. Thank you.
Community Meal Service
Our community meal service for lunch and dinners is open to the public. Breakfast however, is for our in-house clients only. Last year, we provided more than 50,000 meals to our community.
Lunch is served daily at 12:00 pm.
Dinner is served daily at 5:00 pm.

COVID-19 Note: Until further notice, community meals will be packed to-go and eaten off-site. Thank you for your understanding.
You Can Help a Child This Weekend!
Northlands Rescue Mission is committed to ending hunger in our community. Last year over 700 children received a grocery bag every weekend filled with two breakfasts, two lunches, two snacks, two fruits and two juices. Children who don’t have enough to eat are able to have food throughout the weekend because of this program and those who invest in it.

COVID-19 Note: The Backpack Program will continue while schools are closed. Backpack meals will be available on Fridays at a student's regularly assigned school during lunch pickup times (11 am - 1 pm). West Elementary students will pick up at Valley Middle School.
